In a funding environment where consumer VC has fallen 47% from peak, Quince raised $500M Series E at $10.1B — more than doubling from $4.5B in early 2025. Iconiq led again, joined by DST Global, Baillie Gifford, and Wellington Management. Revenue topped $1B last year with triple-digit annual growth since launch.

Why it matters: Quince uses AI-driven weekly SKU-level demand forecasting, small-batch test production, and direct factory partnerships to sell cashmere at 70% below retail. The model eliminates intermediaries, excess production, and inventory risk. If you're sourcing through traditional wholesale, this is the structural competitor eating your margin — and investors just bet $10B it scales globally.

3. Best Buy + Shopify Go All-In: "The Transformation of a Lifetime"

4. Section 122 Under Legal Siege + Amazon Commingling Ends in 13 Days

The tariff legal fight is escalating on multiple fronts. A 24-state coalition (Oregon, California, New York) is suing to block Section 122. The Liberty Justice Center — the same group that won at SCOTUS — filed a second challenge March 9 on behalf of Basic Fun and Burlap & Barrel.
